Progress on Southwestern Illinois College's training site on Freeburg Avenue is continuing. A burn building has been installed as well as a burn pit, and an auto extrication area. The college is committed to this project and further improvements will be made.
Last year, the college asked state legislators for funding to help with this project. Some of the paperwork was lost in the process and funding for the project for this year was not obtained. We are asking that all departments help to gain financial support for further improvements. Attached is a form letter that can be downloaded and printed out on your departments letterhead. We would ask that all departments download this letter, and forward it to your appropriate representative. The names and addresses of all representatives are listed below.
