Mutual Aid Box Alarm System(MABAS)
Division 32
St. Clair County has joined the MABAS group, and has been given the identifier of Division 32. All departments in the county need to get agreements signed with their respective districts and/or municipalities and get them turned in.
Below are several downloads to allow you to get a copy of all the MABAS paperwork. Most documents were created in Microsoft Word. The county Identifiers was done in Microsoft Excel. All of these documents have been zipped. You will need a copy of winzip to unzip them. If you do not have a copy, visit winzip.com to download a free copy.
Several other documents are listed below that apply to Division 32.
MABAS has forwarded and will continue to forward information to share with all departments. Below you can download the Statewide Mutual Aid Incident Commanders Checklist. This download contains two documents. One is the checklist for an incident commander that must be used when a declaration is declared, and the statewide mutual aid plan is activated. The other document is the MABAS Security/Threatcom Status. This status document will provide information to departments on what they should do locally during times of heightened awareness and/or security alerts.
Departments that are a part of the task force, must review the Statewide Mutual Aid Pre-Response Checklist with any and all members of their department that may respond on a piece of apparatus as a part of the task force. The Pre-response checklist is listed below, as well as the current task force assignment.
The latest information received from MABAS is the monthly schedule for testing the communications centers associated with MABAS. You can download that schedule below.
